Art Therapy Programs and Events

Provided by Black Dog Studio

Private pay with accessible and sliding scale fees available for one-and-one and group art therapy sessions for all age groups, in an addition to rotating community events.
It can be difficult to integrate and to put words to lived experiences, but through the sensory process of art-making, you can explore feelings and thoughts from a different angle. For those dealing with trauma, art offers a gentle way to work through pain, giving you a sense of empowerment while healing. No art experience is necessary!

Through one-on-one sessions, group art therapy, or rotating community events, Black Dog Therapy offers in-person art therapy in Nelson, BC as well as virtual sessions across BC on the following topics:
  • Family & Domestic Violence
  • Grief & Loss
  • Survivors & Victims
